Integral to the project is the ***Codex***: a foundational document that provides the framework for our landmark IP—a self-updating vade mecum to the *Nether Regions* and the systems at work within them. Our aim is to offer readers a rich tapestry of lore to explore as they discover the major factions that form the backbone of the setting: the history, culture, and idiosyncrasies of interlocking societies at constant odds with one another. The Codex ensures consistency and depth across the stories told in **Battle Bones**, making it an essential guide for any fan or creator looking to immerse themselves within our future projects, earliest among these being the ***Proofs of Oath*** collection.
