Let’s talk about our *members*. From the suburbs of ***Miami***, three young men would cross paths at a local *all-boys* preparatory school—a **Jesuit** institution that traces its roots back to 1854 in *Havana, Cuba* before having its grounds confiscated and clergy exiled in 1961 by *Fidel Castro*’s Communist regime. After graduating from its storied halls in 2008, they would go off to live wildly different lives for the following decade before convening once more to become the founders of ***Battle Bones*** in 2021.&#x20;

***One*** took to *money*, working across multiple industries through the lenses of public accounting, private equity, and corporate finance. Throughout his journey, he fostered a growing love for tech and Bitcoin—leading him to land in the technology department of the largest healthcare system in South Florida. Maintaining strong ties with the former, the ***second*** would delve deeply into *filmmaking*—from the self-funded years that taught him the fundamentals to climbing the technical ranks of a multi-department studio, he would hone his craft for seventeen years. Second to his love of cinematography is his passion for collecting; two things he would eagerly seek to combine with his involvement in Web3. The ***third*** cultivated a lifelong exploration of *art* across various mediums since childhood, continuing even while serving as an infantryman in the military for nine years across two branches before returning to his hometown in 2019. An *EMT-B* at the start of the **COVID-19** pandemic and for some time afterwards, he would eventually leave the field to become a full-time creative—delving deeply into scale modeling, digital art, and writing.

We’ve always been firm believers that size doesn’t make the bone. Our team of seven is an intimate group of childhood friends and consummate professionals, each with a decade of experience across multiple fields. *Most importantly*, the two are not mutually exclusive. It’s the right mix of camaraderie, dedication, skills, and vision to make something this bizarre work. While expansion is an endeavor we look forward to undertaking in the future, our core group has been at this for a while and we’re all along for the ride.&#x20;
