Since 2009, Bitcoin has been the cornerstone of a decentralized revolution with the potential of wrestling financial control from monolithic entities that have historically acted out of self-interest. It’s more than just currency—it embodies the purest form of censorship-resistant freedom. It’s a defiant stance against overreach: a space where no authority can silence or control transactions, speech, and creation.

**Battle Bones** thrives on this principle. We’ve faced suppression on platforms like ***X*** and ***TikTok***, where our bold imagery has been flagged, slowing our growth but strengthening our resolve. Our purpose is to build an IP that reaches a global audience without being throttled by intermediaries—challenging the existing systems of control in the same way Bitcoin challenged the need for banks and nation-states.

We feel poised to add value to this space with our works, but we do so only by standing on the shoulders of giants who have paved the road for our march into the future. Giants like *Casey Rodarmor*, who has made building an IP on BTC possible by indexing **Sats** (**Satoshis**) through the **Ordinals Protocol**. Through it, the act of inscribing enables Bitcoin’s greatest quality—digital scarcity—to transcend to the realms of art and collectibles. Visionary *Bitoshi* built upon this by indexing every BTC block through the **Bitmap Protocol**. This proved to be the spark necessary to leverage Bitcoin’s data into the seedbed of creation and meta protocols. Among the most groundbreaking of these is the *Block Runners’* **Digital Matter Theory (DMT)**: a framework that maps the organically occurring block data capable of forming digital constructs—Bitcoin’s own periodic table of elements. Enter *Ev*, founder of **Natcats**, who saw the potential of using DMT as a tool for the creation of algorithmic art using this recurring data.

Inscribing **Battle Bones** onto a *UTXO* is our way of forever cementing this IP onto the motherchain. Inspired by these innovations, we aim to push BTC’s potential as both medium and co-author to new heights. We seek the freedom to create and distribute content without gatekeepers—mirroring Bitcoin’s mission of freedom from centralized control over financial exchange. We’re not developers; we are world-builders seeking to create something that endures *and* empowers.
